Turning an archway into double doors entryway

My new client Julie found my on Angie’s List

She asked me to visit with her at her house for consultation
She had a large archway leading into her husband study

She wanted me to install double doors for privacy.
The archway allowed me to match the doors size in her house, the are all eight feet tall.

I had to crate a beam above the doors to square the opening.
The idea was to install decorative glass above the doors in the arch part of the opening.
The glass will be installed by a glass company.
The archway is thirteen inches deep and called for a thirteen inches wide jamb.
After I pre-hung the doors in my shop, I painted it and few days later I installed it.

The installation went pretty easy.
I came back the next day to paint the beam above the doors and installed the trim.
It all worked together very nicely.
My client was very happy with end results and so was I.
My client wrote a lovely review at Angie’s List
