Knotty Alder Wood Doors.

When it comes to fine woodworking such as cabinetry or doors, high grade of clear wood is preferred.
Clear wood means, no knots.

Clear wood is sold to lumber yards for lofty prices compare with “common lumber”

Knotty Alder wood was considered most low grade wood and was used for making pallets.

About twenty years ago, someone started making kitchen cabinets with knotty Alder that he took off pallets.
The results were amazing and the word was flying around rather quickly.

Cabinets and doors manufacturers started to use knotty Alder and it became very popular.

The Alder takes the stain very well.
Shapira builders buys the doors and the lumber for creating the frame and trim that goes around the door from a local lumber stores.

In the pictures you can see two different projects by Shapira Builders.
The stain is subjected to the home owner personal taste.

Shapira Builders gives free estimates.

    Knotty Alder looks GORGEOUS! WOW! I think that would be perfect in many homes I've had the pleasure to visit. I hope everyone who is remodelling thinks about contacting you and considering these beautiful doors.
