Sliding French door with one fixed panel

This home had a nice size room with no doors, just an open square archway.

My client wonted to turn the room into an office with dual pane glass French doors.

This system works much better than installing double doors, that would require a lot of space.

My solution was, one fixed panel and one sliding door.

The existing opening was too large for standard doors.

I reduced the opening with two by four studs and drywall.

The sliding door is hung on a Johnson track that is attached to the header.

There is a floor guide to keep the door from flapping.
