Replacing two closet doors.
My client have a cherry wood kitchen and wanted to replace two doors of two closets in his house. One closet is in the master bathroom, the other closet is in the hallway.
Old closet door in bathroom
My client asked me to make new doors matching the kitchen cabinets appearance.
To create the doors, I bought three quarters of an inch cherry plywood and edging veneer to glue on the plywood edges.
After I cut the plywood to the doors size, I glued the edging veneer on all four sides, I stained the doors and finished with polyurethane to match the kitchen cabinets.
I installed five self closing European hinges on each door and a door pull.
The installation was the last part of the job.
My client was very happy with the results.

I like the new clean look!
It's amazing how different the raw wood looks than the stained one. What makes an European hinge different from other hinges?
Those hinges are invisible when the door is shut.
